My whole life I have been interested in everything and have wanted to do it all.

Through my sculptures I have finally come into my own. Words are being formed and my speech is created on a bird's weft.

This biped lends itself nicely to the anthropomorphic qualities that I give every piece. Movement is followed by emotions and these are essential for traits of a caricature.

Everyone thinks that I am sculpting birds and the final product may effectively support that belief, however, it is from man's attitude, movement and gestures that comes the inspiration. I animate my sculptures with emotions, a trait or a behaviour. It is only then that the bird takes shape, incarnating one of the thousand faces of the human complexity.

After all, aren't we all funny ducks?
